Uganda Total, Gorillas and Chimps. 16 DAYS
Trip of a lifetime walking with Gorillas
Harmony Safaris is the appropriate Guide for you in Uganda
Uganda is a stunning country slightly smaller than the state of Oregon, its known for its magnificence, variety of color, profusion of brilliant life, plants, birds, insects, reptiles ,and its truly the pearl of Africa, Uganda leaves clients filled awe by its unique terrain and wildlife all this in addition to its friendly and hospitable people.
Murchison Falls, also known as Kabalega Falls, is great waterfall on the Nile. It breaks the Victoria Nile, which flows across northern Uganda from Lake Victoria to Lake Kyoga and then to the north end of Lake Albert in the western branch of the East African Rift. At the top of Murchison Falls, the Nile forces its way through a 7 meter gap in the rocks and tumbles 40 meters down. The river drops 122 m (400 ft) in three separate cascades and flows westward into Lake Albert. Murchison Falls is rather unique in that the outlet of Lake Victoria sends around 300 cubic metres per second (11,000 ft³/s) of water over the falls, where a portion of the river is squeezed into a gorge less than 10 metres (30 ft) wide, and the rest thunders over a wide escarpment.
