Level 1:-

Experience the Australian Bush and its wildlife and landscapes first hand whilst training to be an Australian Safari Field Guide! You will be staying on an authentic Australian wilderness camp in Kakadu National Park Region, in the Northern Territory of the Australian continent. It is a fantastic area full of wildlife and with beautiful landscapes and wilderness.

Opt to take the nationally accredited Certificate III in Tourism Guiding or simply enjoy your 28 Days in the bush for the experience of a life time!

As a pure tourist experience our EcoTraining Course 1 is very popular for those people wishing to experience the beauty of the Aussie bush in a unique way!

Although we encourage all our students to take the assessments, as a holiday maker it is not compulsory. If you are interested this course is an entry level 28-day certification that gives aspiring guides a basic knowledge of guiding. It acts as the first step on a career path into the Ecotourism industry with a free employment service offered on passing the course!

Accommodation Details

The camp used for our various courses and trips is located on the border of Kakadu National Park, at Swim Creek Station in the Northern Territory. The area spans four different ecosystems and is a natural classroom for the guiding courses and bush adventures. Kakadu National Park itself is 257 kilometres east of Darwin along the Arnhem Highway.

Accommodation is in African-style walk-in safari canvas tents to provide an authentic and rustic feel to your experience in the Australian outback. Although a bush camp, accommodation is comfortable with good ablution facilities and an atmospheric camp fire area.
